Visiting the Maldives is a dream for many travelers. Each year, the number of tourists increases, with tours to the Maldives appealing not only to those seeking exotic experiences but also to outdoor activity enthusiasts. Geographically, the Maldives is located in the Indian Ocean and comprises a chain of two dozen atolls, which include over 1,000 islands, 20 of which are inhabited.

The republic covers an area of about three hundred square kilometers. Malé, the capital, is one of the world's smallest cities, spanning just 2 square kilometers with a population of 60,000. As the capital, Malé houses most of the country's attractions, offering tourists numerous interesting activities.

The Maldives experiences a tropical climate. From late autumn to spring, the weather is dry, influenced by northeast monsoons. In summer, the southern monsoon brings rainfall. The islands enjoy hot weather year-round, with temperatures consistently around 30 degrees Celsius.

The Maldives is an excellent destination for families, boasting magnificent beaches with snow-white sand and excellent infrastructure. Scuba diving enthusiasts can explore a rich marine life, including a wide variety of fish and other sea creatures. Bananas and coconut palms are also commonly found on the islands.

Entry Rules:

Before purchasing a tour to the Maldives, tourists should acquaint themselves with the entry customs restrictions. For example, one can bring up to 200 cigarettes duty-free, and no more than 125 ml of perfume. Importing alcohol, weapons, pork, and similar items is strictly prohibited.

While vaccinations are not required for entry, experts strongly recommend vaccinations against all types of hepatitis. It is advisable to bring medications, as purchasing them at the resort can be quite expensive. Having health insurance is also recommended.

As a Muslim state, there are mosques on all the islands where daily prayers are conducted. The indigenous people speak Dhivehi.

Tourists who opt for a last-minute deal to the Maldives benefit doubly. They enjoy a fantastic vacation in a tropical paradise and significant cost savings, as such tours are generally much cheaper.
