Day 1. Arrival in Yerevan. Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Time-dependent sightseeing tour in Yerevan. Accommodation in Yerevan.
Day 2 Khor Virap-Areni-Noravank After breakfast at the hotel we will go to Khor Virap: a monastery surrounded by green pastures and vineyards on the Ararat plain with breathtaking panoramas and views of Mount Ararat. The next stop is the Areni winery, where centuries-old Armenian viticulture is relieving renaissance. Here we will taste world-class Armenian wines. The next excursion to the ancient Armenian monastery Noravank (13th century). One of the significant cultural and religious centers of medieval Armenia is the Noravank monastery complex, which is located in the Vayots Dzor region in the valley of the Arpa River Gorge and is surrounded by impassable cliffs. The complex consists of the Church of St. Karapet (1216-1221), in the northern part - the Church of St. Grigor (1275) and separately standing in the eastern part, the Church of the Holy Virgin (1339), the western facade of which is distinguished by its uniqueness: narrow staircase, in the form of a pyramid leading to the second floor. After an exciting day, return to Yerevan.
Day 3. Echmiadzin-ZvartnotsEaster breakfast celebration at the hotel, excursion to Echmiadzin. Near Yerevan is a small but ancient city of Echmiadzin, famous for its cathedral of Echmiadzin. According to scientists, this was the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia and considered the oldest cathedral in the world. Here we take part in the Holy Mass. Departure, transfer to Zvartnots International Airport.
